Cool Down Logging
The Problem
Recording cool-down logs for freshly cooked food products can be tedious and time-consuming, with specific temperature and checkpoint thresholds constantly needing to be met.
- Food products can be thrown out due to improper cool down cycles
- Consistent cool down logging information can be lost through shift changes or task transitions
- Issues with a cool down cycle can be noticed too late to resolve the problem
- Requires staff to be present and attentive to constantly marking down cool down temperatures.
Wasting food from improper cool down cycles can lead to a significant disruption in restaurant operations.
The Solution
Small temperature sensors (with detachable probes) are placed inside your refrigerator or cooler, with probes inserted into your food products, automatically starting a cool down cycle based on your chosen checkpoints and thresholds. If a food product doesn’t reach your set temperature within a given checkpoint, you can be notified immediately by your preferred methods i.e. email, text message, phone call, Slack, etc.).
With automated cool down logging, we can focus on restaurant operations more thoroughly and know that our food’s safety is being monitored 24/7.
- Batteries last many years on a single charge
- Trends are easily visible and historical data can be viewed at any time
- Dashboards are accessible 24/7 from any device, in real time
- Data is fully secure, and devices do not connect directly to your network
