Privacy Policy

Effective August 24, 2026

1. About this policy

ConnectedFresh Company ("ConnectedFresh", "we", "us") provides equipment monitoring to businesses. This policy explains how we handle personal information across our website at connectedfresh.com, our training site, our customer onboarding portal, our monitoring platform at my.connectedfresh.com, and our mobile applications.

If you use the ConnectedFresh platform through your employer, your employer administers your account and decides how your information is used there. Our agreement with your employer governs that use, and their privacy notice is the one that applies to you.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us. Your name, work email address, phone number where you provide one, your company, and anything you write in a form or in a chat with us.

Information collected automatically. When you use our website, platform or apps: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, the pages or screens you view, and approximate location derived from your IP address.

Account sign-in. Access to the platform and app is managed through our identity provider, which handles authentication on our behalf.

Equipment data. Our sensors report readings such as temperature, humidity, door state and battery level, together with a device identifier and a timestamp. This data describes equipment, not people.

Our services are intended for businesses. They are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.

3. How we use information

  • To deliver the service: collect and store readings, evaluate alert rules, send notifications and produce reports.
  • To provide support and respond to your inquiries.
  • To send service and account messages, and marketing where you have asked to receive it.
  • To understand how our website and apps are used, and to diagnose faults.
  • To operate and secure our systems.
  • To meet our legal and contractual obligations.

4. Who we share information with

We share personal information with service providers who process it on our behalf under written agreements. They fall into these categories: cloud hosting and infrastructure; connectivity and device network operation; identity and authentication; product analytics; customer support and customer relationship management; email and text message delivery; and other providers engaged to support specific product features.

Not all of the services on our website are our service providers. Microsoft, which provides the session-analysis tool described in the next section, acts as an independent controller of the data it collects. That means Microsoft decides how that data is used under its own terms rather than ours. Microsoft collects or receives personal data from our website to provide Microsoft Advertising, and may use it to create user profiles for purposes that include advertising. Its practices are described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

We may also disclose information where required by law, and in connection with a merger or acquisition, in which case we will give notice before your information becomes subject to a different policy.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not ourselves use it for advertising. As described above, Microsoft may use data it collects through our site for its own advertising purposes.

5. Cookies, analytics and tracking

On connectedfresh.com we use analytics and session-analysis services to understand how the site is used, a bot-protection service on our forms, a chat service, and services that identify the company a business visitor is browsing from. Session recordings are linked to an analytics identifier, not to your name or email address.

On our training site and customer onboarding portal we run usage analytics only. We do not run advertising, visitor identification or session replay on either.

On my.connectedfresh.com and our mobile applications we run usage analytics to measure feature use and diagnose faults. They carry no advertising, no visitor identification and no session replay.

We do not run advertising on this site, we do not sell your data, and we do not use it to target ads ourselves. Two things are worth knowing all the same: the business visitor identification services described above rely on information collected across other websites, and our session-analysis provider is an independent controller that may use what it collects for its own advertising purposes, as described in section 4.

6. Your choices

Analytics opt-out. You can turn analytics off at any time using the control below. When you opt out we stop loading those services and remove their cookies from your browser.

What your choice covers. Your choice is stored in a preference cookie for connectedfresh.com, and it applies to connectedfresh.com, our training site and our customer onboarding portal. It does not currently apply to my.connectedfresh.com or to our mobile applications. Because the preference is stored in your browser, you will need to set it on each browser and device you use, and clearing cookies will reset it.

Analytics Tracking: On

Global Privacy Control. We honor the Global Privacy Control signal. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we automatically disable analytics tracking on connectedfresh.com, our training site, and our customer onboarding portal.

Do Not Track. Some browsers can send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no common industry standard for interpreting it, and we do not respond to Do Not Track signals. We do respond to Global Privacy Control, as described above.

Marketing messages. You can opt out of marketing email using the link in any such message. You may still receive service and account messages.

7. Your rights

Privacy laws differ depending on where you live. Where the law that applies to you provides these rights, we honor them:

  • Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose
  • Access and correct your personal information
  • Request deletion of your personal information
  • Non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights

Turning analytics off. Separately from any legal right, and wherever you live, you can turn analytics off using the control above.

Reviewing and updating your information. You can review and edit your account information by signing in to the platform or app. If your employer administers your account, an administrator at your organization can view, correct and delete your record directly, and that is usually the fastest route. We also act on requests made directly to us.

To make a request, contact us at support@connectedfresh.com. We may need to verify your identity before we act on your request.

8. Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our practices change. The effective date at the top shows when the current version took effect. If we make a material change to how we handle personal information, we will update that date and post notice of the change on this page before it takes effect.
